The role

Looking for an Automation Test Engineer to join the backend team that builds and maintains event-driven cloud-native microservices in Kubernetes, using modern approaches and tools like DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, Service Mesh and strives for technical excellence, productivity, and automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, reliable and maintainable automated test solutions
• Explore and understand complex test scenarios
• Write automated tests in .NET
• Perform API testing and exploratory testing
• Work closely with backend developers and coach them on the testing approach
• Identify risks in testability and coverage
• Drive automation/testing best practices and processes

Qualifications:

• 3+ years experience working with test automation
• Experience writing automated tests
• Experience with a programming language (e.g. .NET, Java or Python)
• A good understanding of SQL databases
• A good understanding of SDLC
• Experience working with Git
• Fluency in English

It is a plus if you have:

• Experience with load testing
• Experience with DevOps
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with testing frameworks (e.g. Selenium)
• Experience working in Fintech
